State of Powerpets 
It's been a very busy month despite being short. The wedding plot has come to it's
completion. Gekkie and Ratti are finally married. They've been a little secluded since the wedding passed, but we're certain we'll hear from them again.
Our Save a Stray fundraiser was a success, with thousands of people participating, $215 was raised and sent off to Harney County Save a Stray for the Princeton rescue. Meanwhile, a substantial donation of 1,000 plush toys was made to the Mac Kids hospital for the kids gift bags.
Tons of items have been released this month, including the now famous Kitten and Donkey stuffies. Cilantro has also been busy. He is on a short hiatus while everyone catches up cooking the new items.
Several buildings were updated including the Blind Silent Auctions in Noorvik, which now offers greater opportunities for everyone to place bids on a larger amount of boxes. The Eurobank received an update to give active players a better return on their investment, becoming competitive with NBIC investments once again. The Xiang Vending Machine is now also much cooler looking and easier to use. With each bag costing just 1 coin, it's more fun too!
Aquariums were made a little easier to maintain. Now anyone can have an aquarium, even if you only play every other day. This also means Nessie is now giving out better bonuses! Owning an aquarium can really pay off now.
Speaking of easy, the new login box on the front page is now much faster and easier to use. This fix should avoid the problem of people not being able to find where to log in when they are new to the site.
We would like to send out a thanks to everyone who commented on our Inquiring Minds updates. Some of the responses were quite surprising, and we will be keeping them in mind as we go through all the suggestions from the suggestion box.
Last but not least, don't forget to set up your Easter Basket and see if perhaps you can drop something in other player's baskets. It'll give them a nice surprise on Easter!
This month, the to-do list seems endless, but we'll get as much done as we can. For the past month, we have been working on integrating a new payment solution for the Upgrade Center. It has been a long process but the end is in sight.
We're also right in the middle of our Shelter project, aimed to allow Powerpets to help a huge array of animal shelters. We're aiming to have this project ready for roll-out this month.
There is a slew of little bugs to be fixed and areas to be upgraded including Sleigh slots, Nothing Rare Here, Aquariums and the wardrobe. As we go through them, we'll also be updating the translated sites to show item names in local languages.

Passion Pink Wombat Stuffy
Trader Vic is adding to his inventory of items to pawn. He just informed us that you can get a new Passion Pink Wombat Stuffy if you trade in a Holiday White Wombat Stuffy and a Holiday Red Wombat Stuffy. Head on over to the Pawn Shop and visit Trader Vic with your items to get the new stuffy!
Save a Stray Update
The Harney County Save a Stray fundraiser has come to an end. In total, 21498 scores over 200 points have been logged. That means we'll be sending a $215 cheque to Harney County Save a Stray.
There's even more good news. Last week, HCSAS officially received their non-profit status. That means those of you who have made a contribution directly to HCSAS are eligible for a tax deduction!
