Bad Weather 
This is Nora, reporting live from Noorvik where a winter storm is rapidly approaching. The PP Weather Service has issued a blizzard warning for all of Noorvik. Winds of at least 60 kilometers an hour are expected, with gusts reaching 80 kilometers per hour. Strong winds are also forecast, with zero visibility at times due to blowing snow. All citizens of Noorvik are encouraged to prepare for this storm. Every house should have the following:
Everyone should know where the nearest shelter is so that they can go there if their power goes out and stays out for quite a while.
Buildings in Noorvik are preparing for the storm as I report this. All of the shops are securing their windows and doors. I hear that Nothing Rare Here is locking all of their stock in water proof containers. The Noorvik pound is stockpiling water and food for all of the animals there, and are currently looking for a portable generator to keep heat in the shelter.
I will be staying in Noorvik as the storm hits over the next few days to report.

Bingo Returns
After an afternoon of testing and fixing some small bugs, Bingo is ready to return.
The following updates have been implemented over the last 9 days:
A new, easier layout on the main bingo page, separating upcoming games, history and winnings pickup.
The actual bingo game now features a control panel showing your on-hand cash, allowance, game jackpot, card cost, time until next game start and the winning pattern(s).
You can also activate your allowance directly in the game (Note: Do not do it on a FREE bingo day since cards don't cost anything, you'll just be throwing your allowance away.)
We've fixed some bugs with updating of the balls and number areas between games. Games now end 11 minutes after they start and a new number is drawn every 8 seconds. Card for the next game can be purchased 11 minutes after the previous game has started. In most cases this will be 4 minutes before the next game commences.

Simply Delicious in Tanos is currently restocking some new foods. These foods will be needed in recipes, so make sure you get some.

- a portable radio and batteries to receive updates if the power goes out
- bottles of water and canned food that does not need to be heated
- a manual can opener
- extra medicine and a first aid kit
- a back up heater, such as a fire place or wood stove
- a fire extinguisher and a smoke detector
- brightly coloured winter clothing to make sure that rescuers can see you, or an item that you can wave so you can be found
