Privacy Policy

1. As an organization engaged in on-line activities, we take the responsibility to provide you with this clear privacy policy, identification of any and all information gathered from you through this website (powerpets.com), and the internal policy on the use of this information.
   
2. Any and all information gathered from you through this website will not be shared with any third party, this includes powerpets.com staff members who did not explicitly sign a powerpets, Inc. confidentiality agreement.
   Powerpets, Inc. does reserve the right to disclose any statistical information about it's users which will not uniquely identify individuals (you), but merely reflect the % of users based on location (per country), age group or other statistics.
   
3. Powerpets.com gathers the following information from each individual, 13 years of age or older:
   (any information gathered is for your identification and protection only. Please read policy #2 for more details)
   - User Name: For you to identify yourself on Powerpets.com
   - Password: For you to protect your account with Powerpets.com
   - Valid Email address: To send account activation code to.
   - Birthday: For identification and validation of age.
   - IP Address: Each and every time you log on to Powerpets.com your IP address will be recorded.
   - Closest Country: For future use if our server park is expanded.
   - Gender: For future game purposes and statistical information.
   
   
4. When a minor (person under 13 years of age) signs up with Powerpets.com, they will be notified to inform their parents, should they require access to areas of Powerpets.com where they could possibly have the ability of posting any personally identifiable information. If parents choose to grant their children access, they can, via fax or postal mail, submit a signed copy of the Parental Consent Form. Once this is received, parents will be granted access to the Parental Control Panel, where they can customize which areas to give their child access to.
   Such areas include: Powermail (internal Powerpets mail system), power boards (message boards), Personal Profile (user lookup).
   Minors, by default, will not be able to view others personal profiles, without parental consent, as an effort to decrease the chances of them viewing any time-delay monitored content.
   
   ** IP address: Address assigned to you by your internet provider at the time you connect to the internet. This address uniquely identifies your computer on the internet.
   Please be aware that at Powerpets, Inc. we take childrens safety on the internet in HIGH regard. We will make any and all attempts to warn your child of possible dangers when browsing the internet, and we will make any and all attempts possible to teach your children how to be safe and stay safe!
   Though we will do anything in our power humanly possible, you NEED to take the responsibility to educate your child about these matters.
   - Never give out email, name, address, phone or pager information without parents consent.
   - Make them aware that they need to always notify a parent, guardian, or Powerpets, Inc. staff or supervisors, when they feel threatened, or are asked for any personal information.

   For each visitor to our Web site, our Web server does not track any e-mail or domain information.
   We collect information volunteered by the consumer, such as survey information and/or site registrations.
   The information we collect at the time you sign up is used to improve the content of our Web page, not shared with any other third parties.
   
   Powerpets, Inc. does not, and will not, collect any information from players under 13 years of age, other than that provided by parents at time of signup, which is absolutely required as a minimum to play on the powerpets.com website.
   At the moment, Powerpets.com does not send out any email other than the required Authorization and/or Parental Consent email. Powerpets.com reserves the right to send out a newsletter should it chose to do so, however individual users will have the option to choose whether they wish to receive such a newsletter through an opt-out feature.
   
   With respect to cookies: Powerpets.com does not collect any information, directly or passively. Powerpets does store a cookie on your PC, which keeps track of your User ID from the time you sign on, until the time you log off from the website.
   This is required for the website to operate, and does not personally identify you in any way.
   
   If you do not want to receive e-mail from us in the future, please let us know by applying the changes in your user profile.
   With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies. We reserve the right to display advertisements in certain sections of the website.
   From time to time, we may use customer information of members 13 years of age or older, for new, unanticipated uses not previously disclosed in our privacy notice. If our information practices change at some time in the future we will post the policy changes to our Web site to notify you of these changes through a general announcement and provide you with the ability to opt out of these new uses. If you are concerned about how your information is used, you should check back at our Web site periodically.
   
   Upon request we provide site visitors with access to unique identifier information (e.g., customer number or password) that we maintain about them, contact information (e.g., name, email address) that we maintain about them .
   For general safety, consumers cannot access or modify this information once provided.
   Upon request we offer visitors the ability to have inaccuracies corrected in contact information.
   Consumers can have this information corrected by contacting Powerpets administrative staff.
   
   With respect to security: We have appropriate security measures in place in our physical facilities to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from you at our site.
